Jack and Julia have been at it again. Follow their 2012 adventures!
Here’s how it all started…
Happy Thanksgiving! Our elves Jack and Julia have been waiting MONTHS for the “holidays” to come back and visit. They appeared Thanksgiving morning, right where we make our Thankful leaves. Looks like they each have something special to be thankful for.
………………………………………………………………………………………………….
The day after Thanksgiving, we found them setting up the Advent Calendar. They must have known we get our tree and start decorating today!
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
Not tricky at all. Jack was spotted within seconds of bedroom doors opening. They took about a half hour to find Julia, though, hiding in the Moscow Mule mugs.
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
Jack reading the Christmas books. Julia playing peek-a-boo!
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
Wow! Real letters from Santa! Looks like the Aucello kids both made the Nice List. Whew!
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
Looks like we are having hot coca this morning. And, total happenstance, the Elf on the Shelf Facebook page mentioned hot cocoa this morning, too.

Mom and Dad are headed to London and Paris. Looks like Julia is planning on coming. The kids soak this up for a moment.
A Paris sticker on her suitcase!
And a London sticker, too!
After a moment’s debate, we decide to peek inside the suitcase.
A hat, a scarf, some keys, and a camera!
Mom also said we coud peek in the other bag.
With her photo inside. It’s legit.
And where was Jack? Hanging by his mistletoes.
……………………………………………………………………………………………….
The morning Mom and Dad left for London, Jack was hiding under Luca’s bed with two new Advent placemats.
Julia showed up in Mom and Dad’s hotel room in London, in the welcome basket goodies.
Later that day, there she was on the bed, camera in hand, ready to hit the streets
The next morning, she greeted us at the Nespresso machine.
And for the next week, she showed up all over London!
